Refund & Return Policy – Handcrafted Sindhi Bags

Overview

Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the bag must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned with its original packaging, tags, and accessories.

Because our bags are handcrafted, unique artisan pieces, small variations in stitching, mirror work, or patchwork are natural and not considered defects.

Non-Returnable Items

Handmade items have unique characteristics, so the following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized or personalized bags
  • Used or worn bags
  • Items damaged due to customer handling
  • Sale or discounted items

Gift cards are also non-returnable.

Proof of Purchase

To complete your return, we require a receipt or order number.
Please do not send your purchase back to the artisans or manufacturers directly.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:

  • Any item not in its original condition
  • Any item returned with missing parts
  • Any item returned after 30 days from delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email that we have received your item. We will also inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment within a few working days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company—it may take time before the refund appears.
  3. Contact your bank—processing delays can occur.

Sale Items

Sale, clearance, or discounted items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
To request an exchange, email us at Thecraftalefinery@gmail.com with photos of the issue.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will go back to the original purchaser.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund amount.

Depending on your location, the time for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

For high-value handmade items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
